I was raised on a farm in northwestern Illinois, where honesty and hard work was the norm. Worked at John Deere Harvester, East Moline, Illinois in the 70s to 80s, where I was a union representative working with my fellow workers and John Deere management to solve problems.
Moved to Florida in 1987 looking for a job during an extended layoff at John Deere. I have lived in the Venice area for 25 years, working at Bill Buck Chevrolet as service manager for over 18 years.
I have been married for 31 years to my best friend. Our blended family of six beautiful children and ten wonderful grand kids, is a blessing from above.
I earned a 100 ton master captain license, hold a rescue scuba diving certificate, and love to ride motorcycles. Owned and operated The Big Flat Top Llc, a tour and dive charter business.
